I'm a single woman in her mid-30's, trying to navigate "maintenance" in the heart of the Big Apple. I reached my weight loss goal of losing 83 lbs. in November 2007. But this year in “maintenance” has been quite a journey too. I just as proud of keeping 95% of the weight off for a year as I am at losing it in the first place.

Hey lady! Thanks for stopping by! I'm so thankful that I've quit smoking, and I feel for you on the dad situation. There's nothing you can do unless he wants to quit, so please don't feel guilty about the lack of tough love. :(
How's your sister's pregnancy? So glad to see you've kept so much of your weight loss off! I've been gaining, little by little. Time to nip that in the bud. I'll be checking in for inspiration, as soon as I get over this current bout of depression. Or I guess I should use exercise to battle it, huh? Yeah, glad I stopped by to remind myself of things I should know!
Oh, duh, I said your sister's pregnancy, but I meant your sister's baby! Deets, please!
Glad you had a good holiday. And happy for you are back at wt watchers....maybe I will again someday. Keeping 95% off for a year.....just great!
Congrats on being a new auntie.
